Every Ecksand jewel is priced on three things: the gold or platinum, the stone(s), and the work required to handcraft it.

Sustainable gold and ethical diamonds or coloured stones are sourced directly by the Maison. Then comes the craftsmanship. Each piece is designed and made under one roof in our Montreal atelier, where specialists in gem curation, engineering, casting, stone setting, engraving, and polishing each contribute their part. Every one of those disciplines takes years of training, and all of it goes into the final result.

Because we source our materials directly and produce in-house, there are no layers of intermediaries between the bench and you. That's what lets the price reflect the real value of a piece, the materials and the hours inside it, rather than markups added along the way.

Ecksand was founded to contribute to the revival of this heritage. By keeping design, manufacturing, and gem setting in Montreal’s Jewelry Quarter, we preserve rare skills and uphold standards shaped by generations of artisans.

Each Ecksand jewel comes with a free deep cleaning as well as our craftsmanship warranty. An engraving is offered on all products that can support an engraving. All resizeable rings also come with one free resize (to be used within one year). Some models cannot be resized due to their setting or design, for example, full eternity rings. Yes. What accompanies your piece is part of its price, not an addition to it.

Every Ecksand jewel arrives with an Ecksand certificate of authenticity. Diamond engagement rings also include a GIA or IGI certificate for diamonds over 0.30ct, so the quality and legitimacy of the stone are documented in full. Each piece is then presented in our signature Ecksand packaging, considered with the same care as the jewel inside it.

Ecksand offers a fully personalizable engagement ring shopping experience online and in-boutique, allowing clients to select the design, centre stone, and gold karat that align with individual preferences and parameters. For further guidance, our Client Advisors may assist with more nuanced decisions, such as exploring alternative stone options, adjusting proportions or carat weight, or refining a design to achieve balance. In some cases, clients may also be introduced to pieces from our Private Collection, which are not always presented online.

Custom projects are priced individually based on design complexity, materials, and production time.

There are no additional flat fees for custom work, though custom pieces will often require more hours from 3D to final polishing which can lead to a higher starting price than an Ecksand design. 

While pricing is not discounted, clients are guided throughout the design process to make informed decisions that align with their expectations and framework. Transparency remains central at every stage.
