The Vow Engagement Rings
The Vow collection gathers light into a halo of protection.
It begins with the halo: a ring of diamonds encircling the centre stone, drawn into a defined contour that strengthens its silhouette. Designed by Creative Director Erica Bianchini in 2009, each diamond is set by hand to reinforce the symmetry of the circle and to carry a continuous field of light. Crafted in Canada from solid recycled gold or sustainable platinum, The Vow is set with ethical natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, or vivid coloured stones, chosen for brilliance and traceable provenance.
Within Ecksand's vertically integrated Montreal atelier, the halo is calibrated through 3D design and again by hand. Spacing, height, and angle are drawn to exact tolerances so the light moves cleanly around the stone and the structure holds. Each diamond is hand-set within the halo, the surface finished with a multi-stage polish that sharpens the line of the silhouette.
The Vow holds a range of ethical centre stones: round, oval, emerald, radiant, and beyond. Bearing depth and proportion are recalibrated for each, so the halo keeps its integrity while drawing the stone forward. You choose the colour, carat, and clarity; Ecksand's artisans engineer the architecture that carries it.
