When is my order going to be ready?
When you place an order at Ecksand, we send you a confirmation email with the details of your order. Once your order is confirmed, we email you an invoice where the “READY-FOR” date at the middle-left informs you about the date of readiness of your order.
For Fine Jewelry items, your order is delivered within 3-4 weeks. For bridal rings (Engagement Rings and Wedding Rings) and custom jewelry, each are made to order to adjust the design to any of your specific requests. Handcrafted in our atelier by our master jewellers, you get an ethical high-quality jewel delivered to your door within 5-6 weeks.
Need your jewel sooner?
We can prioritize the handcrafting of your order for a CA$300+tx rush fee for bridal rings or CA$150+tx for fine jewelry. Please note that since our jewelry is made to order, some rush requests might not be possible as they’re subject to the space and/or resources we have available at that time in our Montreal atelier. Can I pick up my online order at the Montreal store?
Yes, you can pick up your order at Ecksand’s Montreal jewelry store at 632 Cathcart Street, H3B 1L9. To arrange this, contact sales@ecksand.com or call 514-804-7263 (toll-free: 1-866-726-7263). Please bring a piece of photo ID.
Is your order delivered to you?
When your order is ready, we ship it to you with our free FedEx priority fully-insured shipping service. Learn more on Ecksand’s Delivery FAQ here.

How do I track my order?
You’ll receive a tracking number through FedEx via email once your order ships.

Which payment methods do you accept?
The Ecksand online store accepts the following payment methods:
Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Amex.
The total will be charged to your card upon placing the order. Ecksand online store (ecksand.com) features a fast and secure guest checkout assuring that we do not keep credit card information on file for your own security.
PayPal: Shop easily online with PayPal. By using PayPal you do not have to enter your credit card details on the website. Your account through PayPal will be charged once your Ecksand order is completed.

Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?
Ecksand offers its engagement rings, wedding rings, and fine jewelry to customers across the globe. For orders shipped in Canada, the product prices displayed at checkout are inclusive of the federal provincial tax according to the province the order is shipped to. For orders shipped in other regions, the product prices displayed at checkout are exclusive of all taxes and duties.

Taxes are calculated according to your billing address. These are the tax rates charged to your Ecksand order depending on the Canadian provinces:

International Orders
Is international shipping free?
Yes, Ecksand offers free international shipping.
Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?
For US orders
For our customers in the United States, we are pleased to inform you that there are no import duties or taxes on your orders. This means your purchase will arrive at your doorstep without any additional fees, thanks to the trade agreement between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. You can enjoy seamless and cost-effective shopping with Ecksand.
For international orders
Ecksand does not charge taxes on orders shipped outside of Canada at checkout on Ecksand.com. All orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to any local taxes and custom duties due upon delivery. You can check with your local authorities prior to placing an order to find out more about the taxes and duties that may be charged.
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel fine jewelry orders for a full refund (minus a 5% restocking fee). Bridal and custom jewelry are final sale. Contact customer service for cancellations.
After-Sale Services
Can I adjust the length of my bracelet or necklace?
At Ecksand, we take pride in our ethical, handcrafted jewels. That’s why it’s important to us that you receive a jewel that’s the right fit for you! If your bracelet or necklace is too long, we can shorten the length for a fee of CA $150+tx. If you find that your bracelet or necklace is too small, or too short, we can extend it for a fee starting at CA $175+tx, depending on the desired length and chain type.

Can I get a third-party appraisal?
Here at Ecksand, we offer the possibility to do a third-party appraisal for a fee, to ensure that your jewel is protected forever. A third-party appraisal allows you to insure your jewel for its full replacement value. An official appraisal makes you eligible for the full financial investment depending on your insurance company, should your jewel ever be lost, stolen or damaged.
Does Ecksand offer cleaning and polishing after purchase?
Yes, we offer our customers a first-time free* cleaning and polishing for all of our bridal rings (Engagement and Wedding rings) instead of our standard fee of CA$130+tx for gold, and CA$170+tx for platinum. Book an in-store appointment with our experts.
*Please note that our free first-time cleaning services apply to Engagement and Wedding rings only. In the event that you require another cleaning, or you’d like to clean your Fine Jewelry, a CA$130+tx or CA$170+tx fee will be charged. Our Aftercare services do not extend to products included in Ecksand’s Sample Sale.
