Blossom Engagement Rings
Blossom Engagement Rings draw inspiration from the poised grace of nature as it unfolds. Imagined in 2020 by Creative Director Erica Bianchini, the collection reflects a pivotal moment in the Maison’s evolution, marked by expanded sustainable innovation within Ecksand’s Montreal atelier. Each design flourishes through refined asymmetry, echoing the balance and tension inherent in organic forms.
Blossom reveals itself through an interlocking cluster engagement ring design, sculpted to illuminate ethical stones with a natural, unforced glow. Crafted in Canada from solid gold of recycled origin or sustainable platinum, each ring is set with ethical natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, or vivid gemstone centres selected for their brilliance and traceable provenance. Light flows between the clustered accents, emulating a bloom caught at the moment it opens.
Within Ecksand’s fully vertically integrated Montreal atelier, the design takes shape through controlled bench-led craftsmanship. Cluster points are positioned through 3D-guided modelling and refined by hand to maintain cohesion while preserving the irregularity that defines the Blossom silhouette. Each element is shaped, assembled through advanced soldering techniques, and hand-set with each individual prong in the cluster, then finished with a multi-stage polish.
Every Blossom engagement ring is engineered to support a range of ethical centre stones: round, oval, emerald, radiant, and other expertly cut shapes. Bearing depth, prong proportions, and under-gallery architecture are recalibrated for each stone to integrate seamlessly within the asymmetrical design. You select the colour, carat, and clarity from the Maison's online curation; Ecksand’s artisans engineer the architecture that carries it.
Blossom embodies a level of technical control that cannot be outsourced or approximated. The metal is shaped by jewellers who understand its thresholds: how clusters must align without compromising stability, how asymmetry is made intentional, and how precision endures through decades of wear.
A study in organic form translated into fine jewelry craft, Blossom flourishes through refined asymmetry.
