Halo Ring Styles in White Gold
The classic round halo places a symmetrical frame of accent stones around a round brilliant centre, maximising the stone's apparent presence. The hidden halo sets accent diamonds beneath the centre stone, so the added brilliance is discovered rather than announced. The double halo uses two concentric rows of diamonds to add dimension and apparent carat weight. The Cluster Halo, a signature Ecksand interpretation by Erica Bianchini, introduces a cluster of diamonds set within the frame of the basket that give the setting a nature-inspired quality distinct from any standard halo configuration.
White Gold and the Wedding Band
Halo settings often sit elevated above the finger, which creates a natural gap which leaves space for a straight wedding band to sit flush. For lower settings, a curved or contoured band is the considered pairing: it nests cleanly against the underside of the halo setting, creating an uninterrupted silhouette. Plain white gold bands and pavé diamond bands are both compatible choices, depending on the balance of simplicity or added brilliance the wearer prefers.
