Duel® Chain
Duel® Chain holds the guard.
The collection is drawn from La Garde: the protective architecture at the hilt of the fencing blade, the point where defence meets discipline. Where Duel® Wrap traces the line of the épée in continuous gold, Duel® Chain traces its guard, the sculptural shield that protects the fencer's grip at the moment of contact.
Designed in Montreal by Creative Director Erica Bianchini and structured by hand in Ecksand's vertically integrated atelier, each piece carries the language of protection into modern architecture. The metal is shaped in solid recycled gold or sustainable platinum. Diamonds are set with calibrated tension, the surface finished with multi-stage hand polish. Nothing is decorative.
Together, Wrap and Chain compose a single vocabulary: the blade and the guard, extension and defence. One traces the gesture. The other holds the line.
