It began with a phone call.

An exceptionally talented photographer reached Creative Director Erica Bianchini with a simple observation: she had found a place that spoke the same language as Ecksand. That was all it took.

A collection shaped by what endures

By then, the Dynasty collection had already taken form in Ecksand’s Montreal atelier. Its starting point was the antique cut diamond, a stone first fashioned long before electricity, when every facet was designed to reveal its richest glow by candlelight. Old mine diamonds carry that history in their proportions. They are deeper and more singular, shaped slowly and admired for character rather than uniformity.

Reimagined within contemporary architectural forms, these stones became the foundation of a collection built on permanence. For anyone drawn to a diamond engagement ring with history rather than trend, Dynasty offers exactly that: antique-cut diamond rings reinterpreted for the way fine jewelry is worn today, from the Dynasty East-West Old Mine Solitaire to engagement rings designed to carry their own quiet presence.

Why Botswana

When it came time to tell the collection’s story, the journey led to Botswana, a country connected to the origins of many of the ethical natural diamonds selected by the Maison. There, Erica was drawn to a preserved camp set within one of the world’s most remarkable landscapes.

The decision was instinctive. It was a place where rarity has never been rushed, where character deepens with time, and where beauty never competes for attention. The untouched terrain, the roaming horses, and the enduring sense of lineage echoed the values behind Dynasty. Not as its inspiration, but as the landscape in which its story could naturally unfold.

Some places do not inspire a collection. They remind you why you designed it the way you did in the first place.

Two traditions, one lineage

The campaign brings together two enduring traditions: Botswana’s respect for provenance and Ecksand’s Canadian lineage of designing, crafting, and finishing every jewel under one roof in Montreal.

That proximity between vision and craftsmanship sits at the heart of the Maison’s identity. From the first sketch to the final setting, Erica works alongside master artisans through every stage. It is also reflected in the Canadian National Mark, which certifies the Canadian origin of every creation.

Realized in recycled gold or platinum and set with natural diamonds and carefully selected gemstones, each piece reflects a single conviction: beauty becomes more meaningful when it is created with intention.

Heritage, carried forward

Dynasty speaks of origin, of transmission, of regard. It is a collection where heritage is not fixed in the past but taken up by hand, transformed through design, and carried toward a new form of presence.

The result is a campaign that marks a return to authenticity and a reverence for provenance. A reminder that heritage is not something inherited by chance, but something shaped, protected, and carried forward.
