Generally, our engagement rings start at $2000 +tax, however this can depend on the exact design of the ring. The more complex the design, the more expensive it is likely to be. It can also depend on when you’re looking to design your ring as the diamond and gold markets are quite volatile and are subject to change on a fairly frequent basis. That being said, we have real-time pricing put in place to adapt to this volatility, ensuring that you get the most up to date pricing for your engagement ring. For more information about engagement ring pricing, you can contact our sales team at sales@ecksand.com or call us at (514) 804-7263.
There are many different diamond shapes to choose from when designing your own engagement ring. If you are looking for a classic style, then round and oval are the way to go. Or maybe you want something a little more unique, such as princess or asscher. The most important factor in choosing a diamond shape is preference. To learn more about which shape would be best for you, check out our blog post here.
Custom engagement rings usually take 7-8 weeks to make, however this can depend on the complexity of the design. The more intricate the design, the longer it is likely to take for us to handcraft it.

There is a common misconception that a personalized ring has drastically different pricing compared to a normal engagement ring, but this isn’t always the case! It depends on the complexity of the design. Using our website or our fully custom services ensures that your ring is wholly unique to you, and adding or subtracting certain modifications can cause changes in the final price. Simply put, the more intricate the design, the more expensive it is likely to be, regardless of whether it is bought in-store or designed online. The latter option grants you much more freedom and creativity with regards to the ring’s design.
A source of empowerment to their locality, Ecksand’s natural diamonds provide the tools for strengthening communities and their social and economic fabric. On the other hand, our lab-grown diamonds are created in a laboratory setting that mimics the earth’s natural processes, conceiving the same incredible brilliance as a natural diamond at an excellent value. It is vital for us here at Ecksand to celebrate your special moments with a diamond ring that connects us to the significance of quality craftsmanship and earth-friendly innovation.
First, what exactly is a triple X diamond? Short for ‘Triple Excellent’, this trade term refers to round brilliant diamonds with Excellent cut, polish, and symmetry. All three affect how the diamond interacts with light and act as an indication of the quality of the craftsmanship that went into transforming a diamond rough into a polished stone. Excellent cut, polish, and symmetry signal that your diamond has been meticulously and masterfully crafted to ensure maximum brilliance and fire. You will notice that this standard only applies to round brilliant diamonds, as fancy-shaped diamonds are not assigned a cut grade.
With too many different variations on each diamond shape, an internationally standardized system for visually evaluating the appearance of fancy-cut diamonds simply doesn’t exist at this time. Fancy-cut diamonds are diamonds which have been cut into any shape other than a Round Brilliant Cut.
An eye-clean diamond has no inclusions or blemishes that are visible to the naked eye. Under magnification, it may have imperfections, but only when you look at it through a jeweller’s loupe. Visible surface blemishes or inclusions will, of course, affect the brilliance of your diamond; that’s why at Ecksand, we only select eye-clean diamonds.
